Unnemployment rates @ 8.5%

So unemployment is up and the feds are now questioning themselves about the bailouts that they've made? What the hell is going on here. Not one single person is being accountable for the further damages that have occured.

I spoke with a bank rep the other day. His bank was forced to take 300 million in bailout money. Now that they've recieved it, they don't want it. They offered to give it back. Their reply? You'll pay it back when we tell you. So they pretty much want to give handouts so these lenders will "owe" something back to the goverment.

This getting way out of hand.

Taxes?

Wow, I just seen the cost on cigarettes. They're up another dollar! I can by a six pack for less. Do you think all of those smokers are gonna turn to the bottle? I guess the feds need to make it up somewhere, lol.

Auto industry slowing down?

Not looking good in the media. Perception is reality. It's amazing how the media manipulates. Gm, Ford and Chrysler should merge. Imagine the largest US car companies coming together. Would they be equal to Toyota or Honda? Kia/Hyundai is doing well too. I would think by the end of of 2009 we'll have our results.
